BARNSTORM YOUTH THEATRE – PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy notice applies to the website, products and services offered by Barnstorm. To protect your privacy, Barnstorm provide the following information explaining our online practices & how the customer may choose how their information is used and collected. Barnstorm have endeavoured to create a clear & transparent policy for all online users.

Protection of your Information

All data is collected in a safe & professional manner. Processing, data storage and security measures to safeguard your data have been implemented. We only collect data for those applying for a place on a residential workshop or registering a place. Users who submit an online booking form will be asked to submit personal information such as names, email addresses, medical conditions & contact telephone numbers. This information is held securely. We use Jotform to collect this information, they are GDPR compliant. No personal details will be shared with any third parties. Online payments by credit/debit card are carried out securely on the site of our payment provider (Paypal).

Data Security & Protection

To ensure data is safeguarded through any attempted unauthorised access, appropriate electronic & personal procedures have been implemented to secure online data. Barnstorm bears full responsibility for all data they process.

Barnstorm do not have visibility of, or access to any sensitive information submitted during the card payment process. Email & telephone call queries will be returned but such addresses and numbers will not be used for any other purpose and are not shared with other third parties.

How will information about you be used and shared?

  • Respond to enquiries, requests and queries.
  • Bookings and purchases: We may use the information users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order.
  • Administer our websites and provide customer services;
  • Meet legal, regulatory and compliance requirements including the administration of Barnstorm’s statutory obligations relating to children;

Data Categorisation:

  • Personal : Any data which could be used to personally identify an individual. Including names, DOB, postal address, telephone/email, IP Address.
  • Personal & Special : Medical information
  • Non-personal : Browser name, the type of computer and technical information about users means of connection to our site as well as data which has been anonymised.

Basis for Processing and Legitimate interests

Parental/Guardian consent is required upon the submission of children’s sensitive data. The sensitive data is collected at the point of the online booking submission. Upon the submission of the online booking form the data requested is needed to provide service for that order.

Collected Non-personal information.

Non-personal information may be collected whenever the user interacts with the website. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about user’s means of connection to our site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilised and other similar information. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify the user.

Parental Consent

Should the child be under the age of sixteen years, parental consent is required for all online bookings. During the course of rehearsals and dress rehearsal, a professional theatre & local press photographer may take photos for promotional and archive use. At the point of an online booking, Parental consent is required regarding the use of photographic images.

Personal Information 

Barnstorm does not trade, transfer or sell users’ personal information to any other third parties in the United Kingdom or overseas.

Your individual rights

You are entitled to see the information held about you. You may review, correct, update or change your personal data at any time. The user has the right to have their personal data erased at any time. This request should be submitted by email to Barnstorm@Jordansplace.co.uk. Barnstorm will endeavour to delete all data, without delay, from our system within fourteen days.

Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website.All our intellectual property rights are reserved.

Changes to our privacy policy

We update the Barnstorm privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are familiar with how we protect the personal information that we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
